WOCode Hack 1.0 will be a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. The objective would be on promoting innovation out-of-the-box thinking in young minds, especially engineering students from across India.

WOCode Hack 1.0 India event aims to address these India-scale data problems and how technology can be instrumental in solving those. It will also facilitate an innovation showcase for Indian startups especially working in big data area.

WOCODE 1.0 is a thrilling, sprint-like design event for ideating and coming up with solution for real-world problems, using the tech-stack of choice.

Participants – whether working professionals or students – have the opportunity to collaborate intensively on software products with creative minds from across the globe while being mentored by experts from WOCODE Team.

We’re looking for creative and innovative solutions that challenge the conventional and transform ways of working through the potential of automation.

Requirements

What to Build: 

Build a solution project to solve a given problem statement from the given 10 different themes.

What to submit:

  • Must include the .zip file of the source code from the final solution submission.
  • Must include a Ideation Presentation of the project in English with a length of no more than 6-8 slides.
  • Must identify contributions from each team member.
  • Include a link to the Open Source Project code on GitHub or another code repository sharing service. The code repository must be public with an approved OSI Open Source License. Code will be used for Submission review, testing, and Judging.
